Schuco aluminium windows purely for the residential market are now being manufactured in Scotland at an affordable price. Delivering quality with economy, the AWS 70 SC open out system from Quality Trade Windows represents a cost effective solution for new and replacement windows in houses and apartments.
Quality Trade Windows, the East Kilbride-based window and door manufacturing company, launch this and another new product this month, the AWS 70 HI Tilt & Turn window, which adds to their already established products of the ASS 70 FD Bifold doors and ASS 70 Hl Lift & Slide Patio.
Lex Philip, owner of Quality Trade Windows, said, “Until four or five years ago we were purely a uPVC manufacturing company, but since we started fabricating Schuco Bi-fold doors the business has seen huge growth, and we feel adding these two window systems to our product range will help meet the increasing demand for a high quality yet economically priced window system. We tried to outsource aluminium windows but found we couldn’t get the quality our company demands at a price we could comfortably sell at.
“When we heard from Schuco that they were offering a new aluminium system designed exclusively for our residential market we knew very quickly this was the perfect product for us to offer to our customers. Our target market has always been residential, it’s what we are known for throughout our 24-year trading history and it means we can confidently meet our high standards of after sales back up which has always been central to our success.”
The systems, as well as the bi-folds and patios, are available in two stock colours – white and anthracite grey- and over 200 RAI colours.
On the uPVC side of the business, they also manufacture Rehau’s innovative Geneo window, the industry’s first fully self reinforced system with thermal modules, with u values as low as 0.67 W/m2K possible. Tilt & Turn and door systems are available in Rehau Geneo.
