North East Architects Practice, Lippe Architects held a Celebration Dinner recently to mark 30 years in business.
Amongst the 130 invited guests to the Meldrum House Hotel, Oldmeldrum, were clients who have been with the practice since its inception in 1985. The event also included a prize giving ceremony for an afternoon of golf for staff and clients and a prize draw with all proceeds going to CLAN and Befriend a Child.
The practice was established by William Lippe, who began his working life at Aberdeen City Architects Department and R.B. Farquhar, before moving to its current base in St James’s Place, Inverurie, from where it has provided a wide range of professional architectural services and built an extensive client base. The diverse Portfolio covers all sectors, including residential, commercial, leisure and tourism, education and also historic and restoration projects in the North East and throughout Scotland.
The business has now grown to 20 personnel and the firm has embraced many changes over the years, with the introduction of new technologies probably being the most significant including 3D visualisation and modelling to provide clients with high quality representations of the projects.
Managing Director, William Lippe said, “I am immensely proud to have achieved this milestone, and the company is still growing. We have always strived to offer a high level of excellence, knowledge and expertise and have gained the trust of our clients for consistently offering a friendly, yet professional service.”
