BAM Construction Scotland has appointed Claire Anderson as Community Benefits Co-ordinator. Claire, a marketing graduate from Airdrie, joins the company from Business Partnership in Edinburgh, where she provided education and visual marketing services to local firms.
In the newly created role, Claire will be responsible for working with project teams to maintain and develop BAM’s award winning community benefits activities and supporting the supply chain on issues such as apprenticeships and locality spend.
Doug Keillor, Regional Director for BAM Construction Scotland, said, “This appointment highlights how seriously we take our community benefit obligations. Claire will liaise with local enterprise initiatives, residents, the wider community and our suppliers to ensure each project leaves a really positive and lasting legacy in the areas where we work. She brings a fantastic personality and bags of enthusiasm to the role qualities which are absolutely vital in this position.”
