STEPHEN Good says he is looking forward immensely to maximising the opportunities for the Scottish construction industry in his new role as CEO of Construction Scotland’s Innovation Centre.

He had been carrying out the job of interim CEO since March this year, alongside a number of wider roles.
Stephen has worked with CCG since 2007 when he joined to help lead delivery of their £12 million offsite timber closed panel production facility.
In 2011 he established the company’s iQ Building Futures lab which provides low carbon/energy design, analysis and certification.
Working with eleven of Scotland’s higher education institutions, the Innovation Centre will provide the 31,000 plus businesses involved in the construction sector with a one-stop shop for accessing a team of academic experts and industry support.
Stephen Good said, “Having been involved for the last 18 months as part of the industry group which compiled the bid submitted to the Scottish Funding Council to establish the Innovation Centre, and more recently having acted as Interim CEO, I am looking forward immensely to the new job and maximising the opportunities for the industry that come with it.
“Since the Innovation Centre’s establishment in March, significant progress has been made in getting it off the ground.”
CCG Group Managing Director Gary McGregor said, “Stephen has been fundamental in developing new and innovative products and solutions for CCG. This is an exciting new role for him at a critical time for the industry. Whilst we are sorry to see him go we look forward to working with him in his new role.”
