STORY Homes has been nominated for two prestigious UK Property Awards.
The developer has been put up for Best Residential Development in Lancashire for High Wood, Lancaster, and for Best Developer Website.
Steve Errington, Chief Executive of Story Homes said, “To be acknowledged by these awards is a big honour. The UK Property Awards recognise excellence across the board and to be shortlisted for not one but two awards is a very high accolade and recognition of our achievements.”
Built on the former Lancaster Moor Hospital site, High Wood in Lancaster is a development of 197 new-build houses. Â It is a sustainable community of three, four and five bedroom homes with a mixture of detached, semi-detached, terraced and town houses; designed and finished with a mix of natural stone, render and brick.
Story Homes worked closely with the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) to make the development on Quernmore Road possible. The development also features outdoor space and new footpaths and cycle ways linking to existing networks.Â
Catherine Cannon, Marketing Manager, was responsible for delivering the website. She said, “Story Homes’ new website was created to give customers the best-possible experience when viewing our developments. The company felt that the quality of our homes should be reflected in the website’s user experience, while also showcasing Story Homes’ company values.”
The winners of the UK Property Awards will be revealed on October 24 at an awards dinner in London.
