CCG has commenced building additional state-of-the-art classrooms at one of Scotland’s most prestigious schools.

Dollar Academy, a highly sought after private school in Clackmannanshire, has appointed the construction company and manufacturing specialist to build ten classrooms in a new languages centre, to be completed in Spring 2015.

CCG is the main contractor employed by Dollar Academy to carry out the construction within the grounds of the existing school.

CCG is one of Scotland’s largest privately owned construction companies employing 600 staff across eight divisions. The company is a leading exponent of Modern Methods of Construction as demonstrated by their investment in a £10 million Off-Site Manufacturing facility which was utilised to build 237 homes for the 2014 Commonwealth Games Athlete’s Village in a short build period of 15 months.

Calum Murray, Director of CCG, said, “CCG is delighted to have been selected to work with Dollar Academy on this project to add to the teaching facilities for pupils.”

David Knapman, Rector, Dollar Academy, added, “Dollar Academy are very pleased to be working with CCG following an extensive tender process.”
