HARDIES Property & Construction Consultants has been operating its health and safety department for two years and is thrilled with the development of these specialist services.
The department is headed up by Deborah Roberts RMaPS, a Senior CDM Coordinator and Health and Safety Advisor, who works between both Hardies Perth office and the office of WJR Christie & Partners in Dundee. It provides contractors with customised Management Systems, plus training, advice and inspections designed to reduce construction site accidents and improve safety plans.
Deborah said, “We are delighted this department has bedded in so well with the range of services Hardies offer. The Management System has proved particularly successful with the small to medium contractor, many of whom have recognised an effective Management System gives an advantage when submitting pre tender qualification documents.
“With the imminent changes to the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007, I predict my department will be even busier as the proposed changes will affect the small to medium contractor even more.”
