WORKPLACE design company, Space Solutions, has announced a key appointment following impressive year on year growth for the firm.
With over a quarter of a century in the building and construction industry, Lindsay Cowan, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, will now lead the Design and Build division from the Space Solutions Central Belt offices. Previously the Managing Director with Muirfield Contracts Limited and the Regional Managing Director for Mansell, Lindsay’s remit is to continue to grow the firm’s impressive track record of high quality design and full-project delivery.
On his appointment Lindsay Cowan said, “It is a very exciting time to be joining Space Solutions, especially on the back of such impressive growth in the last few years, despite the recession. My aim is to encourage what is already an excellent team and to build upon the huge successes seen throughout the company. The firm, which operates in Edinburgh, Livingston and Glasgow, as well as Aberdeen, Dundee and London, has seen sustained growth year on year, demonstrating an increased turnover of 49% to £33.9 million and profits of £2.1million in its 2013 annual reports. Projected figures are set to rise again for 2014, with the firm seeing £38.3m in sales – an increase of 13% from last year.
