Story secures new premises in Bonnyrigg

STORY Contracting Ltd has secured a five-year lease for premises at Butlerfield Industrial Estate in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, following the acquisition of the rail plant division of Scotland-based Caledonian Industrial.

The company has agreed a deal with landlord Ferno Properties Ltd, for the lease of Units 16A and B, a detached property on the estate. The property comprises 12,351 sq ft of internal accommodation, with additional external loading areas and a yard to the rear.
The unit in Bonnyrigg will be used to house road rail vehicles, attachments and trailers along with transport providing jobs for 17 staff who will transfer from Caledonian’s rail division.
