Scottish firm scoops leading landscape prize

Land Engineering

LAND Engineering has been named a Principal Winner at the BALI National Landscape Awards for its landscape construction works at the Emirates Arena and Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

The Arena was built ahead of Glasgow hosting the Commonwealth Games. The prestigious prize was awarded at the BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries) awards in London. The award will go some way in cementing Land Engineering’s reputation as one of Scotland’s leading providers of hard and soft landscaping and public realm works.
Land Engineering’s remit was to construct the external hard and soft landscaping for the Arena including roads, car parks, terraces, concourses, granite steps, cycle track and hard standings.
