STIRLING-based Ogilvie Construction has been awarded a £2.2 million contract to build a two storey residential facility at Camphill, Blair Drummond.
The project is the fourth phase of a development programme at the centre that is run by the Camphill (Blair Drummond) Trust, which has established as a warm and welcoming community that provides homes and meaningful daily activities for people with learning disabilities.
Work has now started on the new building, which will be traditionally constructed and is due to be completed in November. The rest of the facility will remain fully operational during the building programme.
Ogilvie Construction also built phases 1 and 2 of the Camphill facility, which included the construction of a single storey activities workshop, as well as a two storey residential building.
