The new learning centre at a college in Liverpool has a stunning façade thanks to RigiSystems LokFold standing seam aluminium.
Around 1,500 sq m of 0.9mm aluminium Lokfold in a PVDF finish have been used to enhance the visual impact of the building at Notre Dame Catholic College. The luminous Moonstone Blue and Gold finish shimmers in the light, creating the effect of a living wall that changes colour in different lighting conditions as you move around the building.
RigiSystems Ziplok was also used on the roof of the new centre, which houses state-of-the art computing, science and design facilities, along with professional-standard auditoria and recording studios.
In a separate development, the Worcester-based company, which has more than 30 years’ experience in the manufacture and supply of metal cladding products to the construction industry, is celebrating the news that Alubond composite panels have achieved BBA certification. RigiSystems has exclusive rights to distribute Alubond ACMs throughout the UK, Republic of Ireland and France.
