The A. Proctor Group recently supplied Spacetherm Aerogel blanket to Scottish Water for maintenance carried out on the Ericht Bridge, Blairgowrie. Working in conjunction with Morrison Construction, the A. Proctor Group developed a process that allows for water pipes to be laid at shallower depths where ground depth is restricted. Two layers of 10mm Spacetherm blanket were wrapped around the water pipe twice and applied to the curved sections of pipe at the factory.
