The structure of Manchester’s new ‘pop-up cathedral’ was erected on budget in just 11 days using the high performance Kingspan TEK Building System. The building will be used for services while the historic cathedral is closed for repairs. The structure had to offer sufficient thermal performance throughout the year and that made the TEK Building System an ideal solution. It is constructed from highly insulated timber panels which are engineered and cut to size offsite.
