The business recently announced a solid performance in 2012, maintaining profit levels of £2.7m on a steady turnover of £160m across operations that include construction, fleet, house building and IT and communications services.
Chief executive Duncan Ogilvie said: “Phil’s extensive experience will enable him to lead the business as we move forward in an economic climate that is now starting to show positive signs and opportunities for the group. The board is focused on achieving sustained growth and success for Ogilvie Group and will ensure that the business continues to deliver high quality products and services to all of its customers.”
