AN open day is to be held by The National Association of Drainage Contractors to increase awareness of a new training scheme.
The NADC Drainage Academy event, to be held at the Novotel London West, Hammersmith, on July 9, will update companies keen to join a network of certified contractors.
The NADC is committed to establishing a database of certified professionals across the UK and Ireland which will be promoted to clients which need qualified companies to carry out work in a variety of sectors including construction, health care, education and property development.
A spokesman said: “The NADC Drainage Academy Open Day will be an educational and interactive forum which will showcase some of the training modules now available across the UK.”
Training professionals will join a seminar programme to outline the various modules available, which currently include high-pressure water jetting , electro-mechanical machines, drain lining, CCTV drain surveying, confined area and site health environmental awareness.
Alongside the seminar programme will be an exhibition of products and services. Admission is free to all industry contractors and pre-registration is recommended to reserve a space at the seminar presentations.
