Move will create a stronger image

The company has announced it is to transfer all sales and production at its Hednesford office to the Hunter Douglas Faber site in Northampton in a move that creates a bigger and stronger Hunter Douglas Architectural Projects division in the UK.

HUNTER Douglas is to consolidate its position in the architectural systems sector with a new operations base.

The company has announced it is to transfer all sales and production at its Hednesford office to the Hunter Douglas Faber site in Northampton in a move that creates a bigger and stronger Hunter Douglas Architectural Projects division in the UK.

The new operations base will focus all the division’s activity in the UK at a single site embracing design, manufacturing, sales and customer service.
David Harris, sales and marketing manager for Hunter Douglas Architectural Projects UK and Faber Blinds UK, said the Northampton site already has the latest design and manufacturing facilities and transferring all operations to a central hub with good transport links will improve the standard of service across the board.
“This will further increase our focus on delivering strong customer service and technical knowledge across all four product groups – ceilings, façades, sun control and window coverings – as well as to our customer base and to the architectural and specification community.
“This move is about creating a bigger and better operations base and level of service to existing and new customers.”
The transfer is expected to be completed by August.
