RESEARCH centre BRE has signed a deal with a Chinese state-owned developer to promote sustainable construction in China.
The first project between BRE and Shanghai International Shipping Services Centre is a £4bn commercial marina development on the Huangpu River. Comprising offices, retail, hotels and other amenities, the latest phase of buildings will be designed to BREEAM, Europe’s leading environmental standard, alongside the Chinese Three Star green building standard.
