SCOTLAND’S famous Locharbriggs red sandstone has been used to clad the first epilepsy centre of its kind in the country.

The harbourside development in Glasgow is an independent 12-bed facility with world-class diagnostic technology. It will also be used to train GPS and nurses and to carry out research.
The sandstone was supplied by Stancliffe Stone from its Locharbriggs Quarry in Dumfries and fixed by McCann Stonemasonry. The centre was designed by Anderson Bell + Christie and built by Dawn Construction.
