ABERDEEN City Council is to extend its award-winning energy efficient heat and power network to cover 388 additional properties in the Cornhill area.
The network is a project that is already providing low-cost heating to multi-storey blocks and public buildings.
The scheme is managed by not-for-profit company Aberdeen Heat and Power Company and provides electricity and a district heating system with affordable running costs, while considerably reducing CO2 emissions. It cuts fuel bills by more than half.
