A former flour mill is expected to raise interest from student accommodation providers.
Property consultant CBRE has been instructed to market the Scotstoun Mill building on a riverside site in Glasgow’s west end.
The property, which extends to 61,000 sq. ft., comprises a multi-storey mill, single-storey warehouse and brick-built mill on a 1.3-acre site. The site is zoned for residential and supporting uses and Glasgow City Council supports the development of the site for residential use.
David Rolwegan, associate director at CBRE said: “It would be perfect for student accommodation given its close proximity to the University of Glasgow so we are confident there will be substantial interest from potential buyers.”
