LAYHER has announced an appointment to further develop its business in Scotland and Ireland.
Andrew Lawson takes on the post of area sales manager and from the company’s Livingston premises is overseeing supply of scaffolding, temporary roofing and weather protection systems.
Lawson said he was joining the company at a time when there are excellent opportunities not only in construction but in specialist fields such as the oil industry. “The availability of extensive equipment supply at the large depot in Livingston, and also the opportunity to develop further the training and demonstration areas on the site, are very exciting.”
Managing director Sean Pike added: “We have long been committed to enhancing the benefits of our equipment via accessible and capable support services, and we are certain that Andrew will be able to contribute significant experience and skills in this regard for customers throughout Scotland and Ireland.”
