A £4.7m project to transform Gourock town centre has been approved by Inverclyde Council’s planning board. The development is a priority for the council in partnership with regeneration company Riverside Inverclyde and includes a one-way system in Kempock Street, 400 parking spaces, a new public space and small boat launch facility and a redesign of public spaces at each end of Kempock Street.
