When architect Studio DuB was commissioned to develop an unremarkable suburban house plot in Edinburgh into a striking contemporary home they selected Marley Eternit’s Thrutone fibre cement slates to help ensure a design vision became an award-winning reality. Architect Gordon Duffy said: “We cloaked the roof and walls in the Thrutone slate as we were attracted to the product’s uniform nature, unit size and sharp look.”
