A CONTRACT valued at £12.3m is one the latest house building projects being constructed by Morgan Sindall’s housing division Lovell.
The firm has started work on 150 homes for West Lothian Council as part of the local authority’s housing programme that will eventually see the creation of 800 units.
The Bathgate development, which is scheduled to complete in spring 2015, is said to be one of the largest projects of its kind in the country and comprises homes ranging from one-bedroom flats to five-bedroom houses.
Lovell has also been chosen by Aberdeen City Council to carry out a £3.7m improvement programme for three city tower blocks.
Starting in January, the contractor will install new rainscreen cladding with insulation and fit windows at the three 14-storey high-rises.
