ADVANCE Construction (Scotland) Ltd has made an equity investment in Northern Piling Ltd.
The move is designed to strengthen the collaboration between the businesses and provide an ‘enhanced’ civil engineering package to customers.
Based in Bellshill, Northern Piling (NPL) is a family-owned business founded in 2010 by William Mitchell. The specialist contractor offers design, supply and installation of continuously reinforced concrete, driven, steel and timber piles, as well as installation of ground-beam solutions both in-situ and precast.
The Advance Group has worked alongside NPL on several contracts over the years.
Greg Mitchell from Northern Piling Ltd said, “Working on often complex jobs the fewer people in the chain the better, it makes sense to support clients in this way with a one-stop service. Advance are already on the majority of the sites we work on. We know the team and are familiar with their processes. This partnership makes perfect sense for both businesses.”
Also headquartered in Bellshill, Advance Construction is a specialist civil engineering and groundworks company founded over 25 years ago. The company operates seven unique divisions and employs around 2,000 people.
