Property investment and development firm, Town Centre Securities (TCS) has completed the new build Waitrose store in Milngavie.

The project has been completed in partnership with former West of Scotland Football Club and includes the completion of an all-weather rugby pitch for the club.

The 36,000 sq ft store has been built by McLaughlin & Harvey (formerly Barr Construction) and includes improved traffic, drainage and flood management.

Speaking about the development, Richard Lewis, property director of Town Centre Securities PLC, said, “Our development of the Waitrose Milngavie store is a superb example of excellence in design construction and collaboration between TCS, Waitrose, West of Scotland Football Club, McLaughlin & Harvey and East Dunbartonshire Council, in order to bring about a considerable benefit to the local community.”

TCS also owns the building where Waitrose trades on Byres Road, Glasgow and has assets of over £300 million and £60 million worth of investments in Scotland .
