New project managers for Knight Property Group

KNIGHT Property Group has confirmed the appointment of two new project managers.

Steve Williams joins the commercial property company from GRAHAM Construction in Edinburgh where he project managed the development of the new St Columba’s Hospice palliative care centre.

Steve began his construction management career with Pharma Imaging Group in 2003 following 22 years in the Royal Navy. He has since project managed for Mansell Construction where he was project lead for the redevelopment of Aberdeen’s Bon Accord Centre, Edinburgh University Clinical Research Imaging Centre and the Registers of Scotland headquarters in Edinburgh. Steve had previously worked for Chess Property Group which later became sister companies Chess Group and Knight Property Group.

He said, “Having worked within the Knight Property Group team previously, it has always been my hope and now pleasure to return. Its current projects are bigger and bolder than those we were working on eight years ago and I look forward to seeing how the company develops in the future.”

Martin MacLennan joins the company from Robertson Construction where he was responsible for the Emergency Care Centre project at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Martin brings a wealth of experience gained with Pihl UK, Stewart Milne Construction, CHAP Construction and Melville Dundas. Previous projects include First Group’s new Aberdeen headquarters, Kepplestone Apartments and developments at Cults Academy, Rudolph Steiner Camphill Estate and several Aberdeen primary schools.
