MACTAGGART & Mickel Timber Systems has grown its workforce by 30% with a spate of hires in response to recent new business wins.
The have won several new contracts including a £1.3 million agreement with Miller Homes to produce bespoke timber frames for its Polofields development in Edinburgh – the fourth time the company been appointed an approved supplier for timber kit for the house builder.
Mactaggart & Mickel Timber Systems has taken on board a number of new employees in roles including sales estimating, design, administration and joinery to facilitate production of its made to measure timber kits from its 37,000 sq ft facility in Bellshill.
In addition to providing timber kits for the developments of its sister company Mactaggart & Mickel Homes, the business delivers premium timber frame products for a growing number of external clients including private and affordable housing and commercial property.
