THE Highland Council is moving from its base in Wick to temporary accommodation nearby in preparation for an £8m redevelopment of the Market Place site. Local contractor Gerry Henderson has carried out works worth £40,000 to prepare the temporary premises for use while Morgan Sindall has won the contract for the redevelopment work which includes demolition of a listed building.
